A Long-Awaited Refresh
This update has been a long time coming. The inspiration for this site to exist in its latest form has been on the wishlist for a while. Finding the right mix of time and inspiration to complete it has been the largest obstacle. But I finally knuckled down and knocked it off the list within the last few days.
The root idea behind these changes is to simplify the back-and-forth because that's where I'm finding a lot of loss in energy and headspace. With this new format, we are able to place the focus back on your needs as a customer, within a clearer headspace ready to provide value. This will yield far better results and drive up the value and return on your investment.
What's New with the Website?
A new art direction — Brhyt™ now has a more complete design language with increased clarity in the copy. I got into copywriting mode to articulate the thoughts around my practice: its principles, underlying philosophies, and values. I also focused on uncovering how to best communicate that in as few words as possible. What you'll find is not only more transparency around my process, but the site itself is better adapted to provide opportunities for this type of insight. You'll also find that you can now take immediate action in both purchasing and requesting services.
Studio & Productions Storefront
Both companies now have a go-to list of services with set prices that are tuned to keep us competitive in the markets we serve. Available for Studio is everything from goal-oriented joint work sessions to full-service subscriptions. For Productions, we've added to our shoot-instant pricing, further enabling our customers to better plan their business; with new offerings like production subscriptions and brand event coverage. Brhyt™ Studio and Productions now feels more complete in its complement of services.
Virtual Office Hours
If you're ready to work, the storefront is the best way to get started quickly. But if you have questions, prefer to put a face to the brand, or just want to have this process feel more real than virtual, you have two options:
1. Book a call
2. Jump into our virtual office during open hours
For now, every Monday through Wednesday, 7am to 12pm CST, if you visit brhyt.com, you will be able to access our virtual office link. Click to "knock," and you'll be let in and received by me.
We'll see how this evolves.
Notes and the Echo Chamber
We're launching Notes, our version of an on-site blog, for company updates, trending news, and a place to hold ideas regarding work and things to come. Along with Notes, we're releasing the Echo Chamber - Brhyt™ Related Conversation with AI; process, philosophy, copy, and potentially a more intimate sneak peek of what may come. It's been an interesting experience getting immediate feedback from various LLMs and something that helps me source the origin of the ideas I'm currently exploring and/or may hold as true. It's also helpful in working out the language around all of it. It may very well be an echo chamber, but I also think that the varying level to which it can be an echo chamber is up to me and how well I define my questions and comments within my chats.
Supply
Supply is our online store. No design studio should go without one, and now Brhyt™ has one. A couple of things to note:
1. This isn't an on-demand print fulfillment type store. I'm working to provide high-quality garments, nothing less than what I would wear - 100% organic fibers, soft to the touch, and with a good weight.
2. Since this is just the beginning, most of our Supply items will be marked for pre-order. This means that I've indicated a minimum order amount that needs to be met before the product gets made. If an item does not end up getting made, you will have the option for a refund or to choose a different product that is available for immediate production. Read more about it here
The current vision for Supply is an ever-changing collection of items made in limited numbers.
Thank you for your time. I'm excited about this next stage of the business and even happier you are here.
